In the weeks leading up to Christmas, Howag’s team was happy to take part in a charity project for the Makariopolsko village Social & reading centre “Mincho Ivanov 1912”.
The project was chosen by Howag at the “Ideas and projects exchange” organizied by the Non-profit Organizations’ Club (NPO) in Targovishte.
Howag donated a laptop, and many of our employees donated contemporary books from their personal libraries.
The folklore singing formation from Makariopolsko took part in Howag’s Christmas party. One if the singers, Rumi, is also part of Howag’s team. Rumi’s family has three generations of singers: grandmother, mother (Rumi) and daughter Maya. Little Maya performed two solo songs to much applause.
(And, our own Georgi and Yordanka also have singing talents and braved the microphone!)
Juergen Seeboth, deputy-head of Production at Howag Kabel AG, was a special guest to the Christmas party and surprised everyone with his talent for Bulgarian folk dancing.
The Christmas sweepstake was a lot of fun, and this year the grand prize was a weekend for two at a seaside hotel.
To all our employees, customers and partners we wish Merry Christmas and Happy new year!
